Welcome to McKinney Knittery, a community yarn destination located in the charming, historic downtown of McKinney, Texas.
We are so pleased to make our home in Downtown McKinney, Texas. Our turn-of-the-century building was restored in 2020 to reflect the beauty of the original building. The space is filled with natural fibers, hand-dyed yarns, unique notions, and fabric too! You'll find brand-name yarns sharing space with small-batch, indie-dyed skeins. Carefully curated accessories complete the product range.
We love that we can offer our favorite yarns and notions, but what makes us happiest is the sense of community within the walls of the shop. We have a place for YOU to sit and stitch! Our seating area is always available for stitching and visiting. We also host four evening Knit Togethers. From the novice to the experienced, come stitch with us!
Historic Downtown McKinney is a destination. Plan to stay awhile and enjoy the shopping, restaurants, and events. Not local? We are always open online!
